Dahod district court receives bomb threat email; police on high alert

VADODARA: Dahod district court was evacuated on Monday following a bomb threat sent via email. Police launched a search operation at the premises to ensure safety.In recent weeks, several schools across Gujarat had also received similar bomb threat emails, triggering evacuations and panic among students and staff.Investigations into these incidents by the city crime branch and cybercrime cell have revealed a suspected foreign link. Cyber forensics indicate that the threats were coordinated from locations outside India.Senior officials confirmed that all threats were ultimately found to be hoaxes. However, the digital footprints traced during the probe point to a group operating from foreign locations, highlighting the evolving challenge of cyber threats in the state.
