The message came during celebrations in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, marking the 90th birthday of the Tibetan spiritual leader, the 14th Dalai Lama.
The Dalai Lama emphasised the importance of compassion, warm-heartedness, and inner peace. He noted that while he does not personally celebrate birthdays, he values such occasions when they are used to promote acts of altruism.
