D4vd's photos, matching tattoo with victim go VIRAL after police identify girl at missing teen

Shocking new developments have emerged in the investigations surrounding the discovery of a decomposing body in the trunk of singer-songwriter D4vd's car. In an ongoing Los Angeles homicide investigation, authorities confirmed that the dismembered remains found earlier this month in the car belonging to the artist, have been identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas.

D4vd cancels concerts

D4vd was set to take the stage at Showbox SoDo on Wednesday night, however, according to TMZ, the rapper has now abruptly cancelled his scheduled performance in Seattle following a shocking development. The cancellation comes as Los Angeles police continue probing the discovery of Rivas’s dismembered body in the rapper's abandoned vehicle, which was later towed to a Hollywood impound lot.

Victim was missing teen

Rivas’s mother told TMZ that her daughter had been missing for over a year.

Interestingly, she revealed that her daughter Celeste, had a boyfriend named David, which matches the rapper's real name - David Anthony Burke.

Matching tattoos

Celeste's mother also shared details about a tattoo 'shhh' in red ink, which matched the one her daughter had on her finger. According to TMZ, Rivas and D4vd have the same distinctive tattoo inked on their right index fingers. However, the tattoo is not uncommon. The style popularised by Rihanna in 2008 was later seen on several celebs' finger.

According to the report, the earliest photo of the singer with the tattoo, dates back to September 2024.

D4vd's old photos go virla

Meanwhile, those keeping up with the case, have since gone on to discover photos of the rapper with the alleged victim. Taking to Twitter, many have shared photos of the rapper with a girl, many claim is Celeste. The tweets suspect a romance between the two, sparking outrage over the rapper's alleged involvement with an underage girl.

Investigations still on

Police have not disclosed who was driving the Tesla before it was abandoned on September 8, nor have they named any suspects. The vehicle was not reported stolen.D4vd, who has been on tour, has reportedly not been in Los Angeles for over a month, and did not report his car missing or stolen. He has also not publicly commented on the case. Meanwhile, LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division continues its investigation into the teen’s death.
