The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has submitted a complaint to Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Durgadas Uikey and the National Medical Commission, demanding a transparent probe into the death of Nithin Raj, a first-year student of Anjarakandy Dental College in Kannur, and stringent action against those found responsible.
Nithin Raj, a resident of Thiruvananthapuram, died on Friday after falling from a college building in a suspected suicide. His family had alleged Nithin faced caste-based and racial abuse from fellow students, along with harassment from teachers.
