Delhi Woman Hits Accelerator, Smashes Thar Through Showroom Soon After Buying It | Video

A woman accidentally rammed her newly purchased Mahindra Thar through a showroom’s glass wall in Delhi’s Preet Vihar during a pooja ceremony. No injuries were reported.

A major drama unfolded at a Mahindra showroom in east Delhi’s Preet Vihar on Monday after a woman accidentally drove a Thar through a glass wall of the showroom right after she purchased the four-wheeler.

According to news agency PTI, no one was hurt in the incident, and multiple reports claimed the woman drove the four-wheeler out of the first floor of the showroom. 

According to the details, the woman accidentally pressed the accelerator while conducting a pooja (a religious ritual) after buying the vehicle on Monday evening, PTI quoted an officer as saying.

“The owner accidentally pressed the accelerator, causing the car to break through the glass wall of the showroom and fall to the ground. A motorcycle was also damaged," he said.
