One of the most unforgettable crossover figures in sports and entertainment is about to be given the spotlight again.

Former Chicago Bulls star Dennis Rodman is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026, as per reports.

Rodman Joins Star-Studded Class

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the five-time NBA champion will be honoured alongside names like AJ Styles, Demolition and Stephanie McMahon.

The ceremony is scheduled for April 17 at Dolby Live inside Park MGM in Las Vegas, just one night before WrestleMania 42 takes centre stage.

Rodman becomes the fifth confirmed inductee, bringing renewed attention to WWE’s celebrity wing.

A Key Figure in Wrestling’s Boom Era

While Rodman made his name dominating the NBA hardwood, particularly during the Chicago Bulls’ 1990s dynasty, his impact in professional wrestling was anything but a side note.

During the peak of the “Monday Night Wars," Rodman became a regular presence in World Championship Wrestling, aligning himself with the iconic New World Order (nWo) faction.

Teaming up with Hulk Hogan in 1997, Rodman competed in a high-profile tag match at Bash at the Beach against Lex Luger and The Giant, marking one of the most memorable celebrity crossovers of the era.

Controversy and Crossover Chaos

Rodman’s wrestling stint wasn’t without drama.

In 1998, during the NBA Finals between the Bulls and the Utah Jazz, he famously skipped practice to appear for WCW: a move that sparked headlines and criticism.

That crossover even spilt into the ring, as Rodman and Hogan later teamed up to defeat Diamond Dallas Page and Karl Malone at Bash at the Beach.

His final WCW appearance came in 1999, when he faced Randy Savage at the Road Wild event.

Already a member of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame since 2011, he is now set to be included in WWE’s celebrity wing, alongside names like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Donald Trump.
