American Idol music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca were found dead inside their Los Angeles home on Monday. "We are devastated to hear of Robin and her dear husband, Tom’s, passing," an American Idol spokesperson was quoted as saying by FOX News.
Robin has been a cornerstone of the Idol family since 2009 and was truly loved and respected by all who came in contact with her.
Robin will remain in our hearts forever, and we share our deepest sympathy with her family and friends during this difficult time."The couple were discovered on Monday by LAPD officers inside their house in Encino, as they showed up to carry out a welfare check, as per TMZ. Officials saw blood at the entrance and had to break a window to enter the house. They discovered that Kaye and her husband were suffering from potential gunshot wounds. They had both succumbed to their injuries.They were both found dead in separate rooms of their home, reported ABC News. Police had also been called to the property on Thursday as a neighbour had seen an unidentified person trying to climb the fence and enter the house. Officers did not encounter any signs of forced entry into the property at that point of time.
"We didn't see or hear anything. My renter called 911 on Thursday because she saw somebody hopping the fence," said Amee Fagge, a neighbour of the victims. "And I have no idea if that was related or not. They came and left, the helicopters and police came,” she added.Cops told the neighbours on Monday that family members could not reach the couple for four days.Kaye had worked on American Idol from 2002-2023 as per her IMDB page.
