DGP orders provision of essential facilities for traffic police amid rising summer heat and harsh working conditions in Karnataka

In view of rising temperatures and increasing dust pollution across Karnataka, the Director General and Inspector General of Police (DGP) has issued directions to provide basic facilities to traffic police personnel on duty.

The order comes following a representation by Mohan Kumar Danappanavar, member of the Karnataka State Police Complaints Authority, who highlighted the health risks faced by traffic police personnel working under extreme weather conditions.
