In an interview with PTI, Vivek Sinha shared that a few days ago, he received a message on Instagram from a female where she said that he should be "ashamed" of accepting the role in the 'Dhurandhar' film franchise for a few bucks.

He said, "A lady wrote to me about how I spoke regarding Hindus in such a manner, being a Hindu myself. Initially, I thought, should I reply to her or should I leave? Then I thought, why not? Let me make my point and let it reach her.

So I left her a voice note."

Vivek Sinha shares his response

Vivek expressed that a movie is a mirror to society. He added that a film showcases how the characters behave. The actor added that if he has to portray a terrorist, he has to show his thoughts about Hindus and says they are cowards.

The actor revealed, telling the person in a voice note, "So when we have to show that character, should we call a terrorist from Pakistan to shoot the film? We only have to do it, no? So that we understand what he is trying to say, so that we can show to what extent he can go being so cruel. If someone is murdering in a film, should we call real murderers from jail to act? So I sent that in a voice note, and she has not replied yet."
