Ditipriya alleges inappropriate behaviour, Jeetu denies claims

Actor Ditipriya Roy has come forward with allegations of inappropriate behaviour by her Chirodini Tumi Je Amar co-star Jeetu Kamal. In a social media post, she shared a series of incidents – without naming anyone – that left her feeling uncomfortable, prompting her to speak up despite her initial hesitation.

Later in the day, Jeetu shared screenshots of their private chats to deny claims.

Ditipriya’s claims

The controversy began when Jeetu Kamal shared a BTS photo with Ditipriya from their ongoing TV show, which she found inappropriate. After voicing her discomfort to the production house, Jeetu deleted the post. However, online backlash followed from fans, labelling Ditipriya as ‘rude’ for not being ‘sporting enough’.

Talking to CT, Ditipriya clarified that this was part of a larger pattern of inappropriate behaviour, and said that what once seemed like jokes had started crossing boundaries.

In media interviews, Jeetu said he respected her and took the post down as a gesture of goodwill. However, she alleged repeated instances of harassment. She claimed he had once sent her an AI-generated photo of them kissing and joked that it could cause a breakup if her boyfriend saw it. On another occasion, when she said she would miss an event due to a doctor’s appointment, he asked if she was pregnant.

She added that he’d text her, but seldom speak in person.

“He mentioned he was scared of my mother – that made me question his intentions,” she said.
