DJ operator found dead in Samastipur

Patna: The body of a 19-year-old DJ operator with his throat slit and multiple stab wounds was found near Bhardwaj College under the Hasanpur police station area of Samastipur district on Wednesday.The victim was identified as Rakesh Sah, son of Shankar Sah, a resident of Malhipur village under Hasanpur police station limits. He had been missing since Monday.Rakesh’s brother, Santosh Kumar, said, “Rakesh left home on his bike on Monday afternoon but did not return. His bike and clothes were found near the college on Tuesday evening, but there was no trace of him.”According to police, his body was found in a semi-naked condition in a bush near the college complex on Wednesday morning.

Following the incident, angry locals staged a protest demanding the immediate arrest of the killers. Police managed to pacify the agitated mob after nearly two hours.Dalsinghsarai SDPO Sanjay Kumar Sinha said, “Prima facie, the incident appears to be linked to a suspected love affair involving the victim and a local woman. However, no written complaint has been received from the family so far. Further investigation is underway.”
