DMK will meet its downfall for inducting ‘traitors’ ousted from AIADMK: Palaniswami

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Sunday (March 8, 2026) said the ruling DMK would face the consequences for associating with “traitors” expelled from the AIADMK, and that their inclusion would eventually lead to the DMK’s downfall.

Addressing a public meeting at Perundurai in Erode district as part of his State-wide election tour, Mr. Palaniswami said former AIADMK leader O. Panneerselvam had attempted to weaken the party after the death of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.
