Don’t disturb students during school hours, Min tells TVK cadres

Trichy: School education minister A Rajmohan has warned TVK functionaries against disturbing students during school hours, saying they will face strict disciplinary action, including expulsion from the party.

He was responding to a question from reporters at Perambalur regarding increasing incidents of TVK workers causing disturbances in govt schools.“No one should disturb students during school hours and make reels involving students. We have zero tolerance against them and strict action will be taken,” Rajmohan said. He cited the recent expulsion of a block secretary from TVK on the chief minister’s directions.The minister highlighted the govt’s efforts to improve school education and how the quality of govt schools would be further enhanced. Govt schools are functioning on par with private institutions and both will be treated equally, he said. There are plans to introduce new curricula for higher education, he added.
