A meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US leader Donald Trump has begun on the sidelines of the NATO summit in The Hague on Wednesday, the Ukrainian presidency said.

The two leaders were set to discuss additional sanctions on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine and arms procurement for Kyiv, a source had earlier told AFP.
