DOST special phase kicks off; registration and web options till July 31

The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) on Friday began the special phase of Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST). The special exercise will be open for candidates till July 31.

The special phase is applicable to students who are already registered but did not get a seat, for candidates who have never registered till now, and the exercise is open to all local and non-local students.

For those registered, the earlier DOST ID and pin are sufficient to exercise web options, and new candidates can register by paying ₹400 on the official website.

Candidates can exercise web options till July 31. The last day is also assigned for verification of special category certificates such as those qualifying with extracurricular activities, sports, NCC, and persons with disabilities.

The special phase allotment will be published on August 3. Candidates then can exercise online self-reporting till August 6.

Spot admissions in all private un-aided colleges and self-finance courses in private aided colleges will take place on August 11 and 12.

In a separate development, the TGCHE chairman V. Balakista Reddy chaired the TG PGECET 2025 admissions committee and finalised the admissions counselling schedule.

The notification will be issued on Saturday and candidates can register online from August 1 to 9. Candidates can exercise web options on August 11 and 12, following which a provisional list will be published on August 16 and candidates are required to report at the allotted college from August 18 to 21.
