Driver dies after collision of two trucks in Gurgaon on Binola flyover

GURGAON: A truck driver was killed after his vehicle rammed into another truck on the Binola flyover on the Gurgaon-Jaipur carriageway on Wednesday. The victim got trapped inside the cabin and was pulled out by a relative and passersby, but had succumbed to his injuries.The deceased was identified as Ajit, a resident of Dani Chima village in Mahendragarh district. Police said the accident took place around 5am when Ajit was driving his truck towards Bawal.His relative, Jogender Singh of Khairoli village, who was travelling behind him in another vehicle, witnessed the crash.In his complaint to Bilaspur police, Jogender alleged that the truck ahead was being driven negligently without indicators or reflectors, leading to the collision.

He stated that Ajit's truck crashed into the vehicle, leaving him trapped inside the cabin.Police reached the spot after receiving information about the accident and found Ajit dead.Based on Jogender's complaint, Bilaspur police registered a case under Sections 106 (causing death by negligence) and 281 (rash or negligent driving on a public way) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against the driver of the truck bearing registration number RJ32GV-7793.The body was taken into custody for postmortem examination, and further investigation is underway, police said.
