The Lamborghini crash case in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur has taken a new turn, with the complainant filing an affidavit stating that Shivam Mishra, son of a tobacco tycoon, was not driving the car at the time of the accident.

Earlier, the driver of the car had claimed that Shivam had seizure right before the accident.

“I was driving the car when the accident happened. Suddenly, he had a seizure. The car was moving slowly, and he fell on top of me. I got very scared. I was holding him with one hand. The car hit a three-wheeler, climbed onto the divider, and then stopped," the driver, Mohan, had told News18.

Now, giving a twist to the probe, the complainant, Mohammad Taufiq, who suffered serious leg injuries in the crash, has approached the court with a compromise plea. In an affidavit, he stated that the luxury car was being driven by Mohan Lal at the time of the incident.
