Drugs seized in Churachandpur, two arrested

Churachandpur: Manipur Police arrested two persons and seized drugs from them during a routine checking near Singngat police station, close to the India-Myanmar border, on Sunday.According to the police, the suspects have been identified as K Pauchinsuan (57) of Gouchinkhup Veng, New Lamka in Churachandpur, and Tuahmawi (42) of Mata Mualtam village in Churachandpur.

Police seized 107 soap cases, containing approximately 1.4 kg brown sugar, and a vehicle from their possession.
