The much-anticipated horror-comedy 'Bhoot Bangla', starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Priyadarshan, is set to hit theatres on April 10. The film marks yet another reunion of the blockbuster actor-director duo.
Recently, Ektaa Kapoor shared interesting details about how the project came together.
She revealed that Priyadarshan suggested a few changes to the script before agreeing to direct — a move that ultimately strengthened the film.
Akshay Kumar agreed without hesitation
In a recent media interaction, Ektaa Kapoor revealed that Akshay Kumar came on board almost immediately after hearing the story. She said the actor showed instant enthusiasm for the project.
When she mentioned that Priyadarshan would direct the film, Akshay became even more excited.The team then approached Priyadarshan, who appreciated the concept but requested minor script adjustments. Once those revisions were approved, the entire team reportedly finalized the deal within just a few days. The film marks their seventh collaboration, reviving a partnership that previously delivered several comedy classics loved by audiences.
First song teaser sparks curiosity
As anticipation grows, the makers released a teaser for the film’s first track, “Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge.” The song features music by Pritam, lyrics by Kumaar, vocals by Dev Arijit, and a rap portion by Mellow D. The full version is expected to be released soon.Sharing the teaser online, the team wrote, “Main apne bhooths ke saath ready hoon… are you?#RamJiAakeBhalaKarengeTeaser out now. Song out tomorrow!”
