Since a clip of HasanAbi was leaked through social media channels, the large-scale project for character assassination had taken a big leap. The Twitch streamer, known for his political commentary, was allegedly recorded spewing violent destruction, giving certain factions reason to join the outrage.

Among the respondents was Elon Musk, CEO of both Tesla and SpaceX, whose cryptic reply only added more fuel to the fire.

Shattering the Calm

On 11th of September, @Rightanglenews shared with the world a compilation of HasanAbi clips, the bases of HasanAbi reports, alleged to include a statement by HasanAbi declaring that liberals needed to "gut" their opponents. The video length was very brief- two minutes and 19 seconds. However, it had reached many, with many accusing the streamer of inciting political violence.HasanAbi always creates a stir because of his loud views on politics, culture, and American policy. More bitter was the timing of the circulation of a video showing that the very next day, significant conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot dead.

Elon Musk’s Cryptic Response

Musk decided to have the last word, providing just a short but engaging response. Directly quoting the post, Musk only wrote: "!!", leaving his 200 million followers all to interpret the man himself.

This punchy but ambiguous response of his drew quite varying reactions. Some figured that he was condemning the HasanAbi discourse. Others criticized the billionaire for acting as a magnifier of said controversy without ever attempting to add anything close to clarity. This ambiguity has only fueled the speculators of what Musk thinks of political speech, moderation, and online accountability.

HasanAbi's Previous Comments on Charlie Kirk

As for the topic of the comments that God hath set fire to, since HasanAbi recently commented on the death of Charlie Kirk in an event held in Utah Valley University, he declared that "reasonable gun control" could have prevented that tragedy, putting to one side the argument that body armor could have saved Kirk. HasanAbi would clarify that a bulletproof vest would have done no good since Kirk was shot in the neck, but the critics saw his arguments as insensitive right after the killing. On the other hand, supporters said that he was really criticizing the never-ending saga of gun violence in America.
