Emmanuel Acho forewarns that the San Francisco 49ers estranged wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is going the Antonio Brown way.His social media messages are a puddle right now.
And may soon turn into a flood. That’s how Antonio Brown did, too. And Brandon Aiyuk is repeating what Antonio Brown did before.Apart from Emmanuel Acho’s views, NFL Insider Adam Schefter also has a lot to talk about Brandon Aiyuk’s loud social media messages. Let’s find all that out.
Emmanuel Acho calls Brandon Aiyuk Antonio Brown in terms of social media messages
Backstory: The San Francisco 49ers are not leaving Brandon Aiyuk. The Washington Commanders are not trading for Brandon Aiyuk. Brandon Aiyuk is posting message after message on social media about the whole situation. Nothing is happening despite his screaming social media messages. “Brandon Aiyuk is on an early Antonio Brown trajectory without the Antonio Brown talent,” Emmanuel Acho said on the June 24 Speakeasy podcast episode. “Antonio Brown had six consecutive seasons like we’ve never seen in the National Football League before. I remind you; it wasn’t all of a sudden; it was subtle. What ended up as a flood started as a puddle. [Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver] Antonio Brown did not start on Instagram, crashing out.
No, Antonio Brown started running around saying ‘Free me,’ calling his grandma, if I’m not mistaken, on Instagram Live, cussing out general managers. That’s how it started. Go to his Instagram, which I’ve blocked, to see how it ended. Brandon Aiyuk is on this Antonio Brown trajectory without the Antonio Brown numbers to back it up, and that is my fear.”
Adam Schefter declares Brandon Aiyuk is scaring other NFL teams
NFL Insider Adam Schefter said every social media message of Brandon Aiyuk is doing more damage than there already is. Every social media message is scaring other NFL teams from signing him.“I think every time he opens his mouth, he damages his standing with other teams, and he scares other teams from bringing him into their organization,” Adam Schefter said.“In speaking with teams, everybody’s saying, ‘What’s wrong with this guy right now?’ It’s unsettling to watch him, and it’s scary to see how he’s handling himself. By the way, he’s still a member of the [San Francisco] 49ers, the team that paid him, and he’s saying ‘Go, [Washington] Commanders’… I even asked Washington [Commanders] their thoughts on signing Brandon Aiyuk, maybe for all we know, they’re planning on doing it. But I know, having spoken to them leading up to the draft, they had some questions at that point in time, and I would imagine they still exist.”
