Engineering management quota admissions from Aug 10

Admissions into engineering colleges under the management quota (B-category) will be held from July 19 to August 10, according to the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE).

Officials said that the managements have to issue admission notifications in leading newspapers and also display them on the college website from July 19, and students should be given a minimum of 9 working days to apply under this category.

Colleges have to complete the admission process by August 10 and submit the admission list to the competent authorities before August 25.

As per the notification, 30% of management quota seats have to be filled as per the merit of the applicants with candidates claiming the NRI quota first, followed by students securing JEE Main ranks, and Telangana EAPCET rankers.

If any seats remain unfilled, colleges can fill them with candidates who secured not less than 45% in the Intermediate Public Examinations.
