Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday issued a fierce warning to Pakistan after Operation Sindoor, saying any act of terror in the future would be met with a decisive response through India’s indigenous weapons systems.
After inaugurating several developmental projects in Varanasi, PM Modi said, “During Operation Sindoor, the entire world witnessed the power of India’s indigenous weaponry. Our air defence systems, indigenous missiles and drones have demonstrated the strength of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India)."
“In particular, our BrahMos missiles have instilled fear in every enemy of India. In Pakistan, even hearing the name ‘BrahMos’ is enough to keep them awake at night."
PM Modi said all BrahMos missiles will be built in Uttar Pradesh, and manufacturing is being started in Lucknow. He further said several defence companies are setting up their plants in the state, and the weapons built in UP will bolster the strength of the Indian armed forces.

“If Pakistan dares to commit another sin, then the missiles made in UP will destroy the terrorists," the Prime Minister further said.
PM Modi also fired a salvo at the Congress, saying the party and its allies were unable to accept the fact that India managed to destroy several terror camps in Pakistan. “Many of Pakistan’s air bases are still in the ICU. It’s clear that Pakistan is upset, but Congress and the Samajwadi Party are unable to tolerate Pakistan’s distress."
“When the masterminds of terrorism cry over there, Congress and SP leaders are shedding tears here after seeing the condition of the terrorists," he added.
PM Modi inaugurated projects worth Rs 2,200 crore in Varanasi spanning multiple vital sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, tourism, urban development, and cultural heritage.
He dedicated the success of Operation Sindoor to Mahadev’s blessing and said, “The vow I had taken to avenge the sindoor of our daughters has been fulfilled — and it was only possible with the blessings of Mahadev. I dedicate the success of Operation Sindoor at his feet."
