Ultraviolette, a mobility manufacturer, recently launched Battery Flex (BaaS), aimed to accelerate adoption of sustainable transportation, in Bengaluru.

“Customers can now own an Ultraviolette X-47 starting at ₹1,49,000, while subscribing to the battery beginning at ₹2499 per month. This model allows customers to pay for the bike chassis while financing the battery separately under a steady monthly subscription fee,” said the company in a release.

Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder at Ultraviolette commented, “With a starting price of ₹1.5 lakh, riders gain access to better technology, features, and performance that outpaces every segment. With operating costs as low as ₹2499 per month, which is lesser than the average spends on petrol, we are redefining what affordability means in motorcycling.”
