Union Minister Kiren Rijiju lashed out at Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi for his "nonsensical statements," such as calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a "thief" and China occupying India's territory. He claimed that even the Congress leader's colleagues fear he might end up speaking "rubbish," which could later come back to haunt the party.

"When Rahul Gandhi speaks, all his party MPs become very uncomfortable. They fear that whenever he says something rubbish, the party has to bear the consequences," Rijiju said.

Rijiju said that every democracy needs a strong Opposition. However, expressing disappointment over Rahul Gandhi's leadership style, he remarked, "They are unable to perform even the basic duties of an Opposition, let alone act as a strong one."

"Rahul Gandhi is the LoP and I dont want to criticise him. The SC scolded him when he called the PM 'chor', spoke nonsense regarding Rafael, and claimed that China occupied our land. He should speak like an Indian. I am no one to improve Rahul Gandhi. He will not listen," he added.

Rijiju further went on to attack Rahul Gandhi, alleging that he had been "working in coordination" with George Soros and Khalistani forces to "weaken the country."
