In a shocking development, the leader of the Janshakti Janata Dal, Tej Pratap Yadav, along with his close associates, is facing serious allegations of conspiring to abduct and eliminate former spokesperson Santosh Renu Yadav.
Patna: Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD) leader Tej Pratap Yadav and his supporters have been accused of conspiring to kidnap and murder former party spokesperson Santosh Renu Yadav. Santosh has submitted a written complaint to the Srikrishnapuri police station, alleging that Tej Pratap and his supporters attempted to kill him.Santosh claimed he was held captive on Feb 4 evening and that a conspiracy was hatched to murder him. He alleged that his life was saved only after Ashutosh Kumar, a leader of the Bhumihaar Brahmin Ekta Manch, reached the spot. Police said further investigation is underway.Sri Krishnapuri SHO Jitendra Rana said, “A written application was received from the complainant. The complaint was registered and the investigation is underway.
We also contacted those at whose office the complainant was allegedly assaulted.”According to Santosh’s application, on Feb 4 at around 7 pm, he was called to the office of former JJD state president Jai Singh Rathore on Boring Road. He alleged that a party leader, Avinash Kumar Sonu, called him on the pretext of handing over his sister’s wedding invitation card.“After this, they intimidated me and took me with them to residence 42-A, located on Harding Road.
Then the main gate of the residence was locked. Motilal Rai, Shambhu Yadav, Baijnath Yadav, and some unknown people present there started planning to do something untoward with me,” Santosh alleged.Santosh was earlier the spokesperson of JJD, led by Tej Pratap Yadav. He quit the party a few days ago, following which a dispute began between the two.Earlier, a complaint was also filed at the police station against Santosh from Tej Pratap Yadav’s side. Subsequently, Santosh lodged a complaint against Tej Pratap Yadav at Beur police station. The dispute between the two has been continuing for the past few months.
