Excise officials arrest multiple suspects and seize ganja in raids across Hyderabad and Khammam

Excise officials arrested several persons and seized ganja in multiple operations in Hyderabad and Khammam.

In the first case, 390 grams of ganja was seized in Dhoolpet by the Special Task Force (Excise) team. Sudesh Singh was arrested in the case, while cases were also registered against two others identified as Geeta Singh and Vivek Singh. Officials said that the seized substance and the accused were handed over at the Dhoolpet excise station for further investigation.

In another case, 400 grams of ganja was seized in the Nampally area. Ganesh was arrested in connection with the case, while cases were registered against Hanmantu and Anil. The accused and the seized material were handed over to the Nampally excise station for further action.

In a separate operation in Khammam district, excise officials seized 7.8 kg ganja at the railway station. Two persons, Sameer Rajma Ullah Tamboli and Ganesh Deepak Agrawal, both residents of Maharashtra, were arrested in the case. Another person, Prakash Kumar Purashetti, was also booked in connection with the seizure. Officials said that the accused and the seized contraband were handed over at the Khammam II excise station for further investigation.
