I play to win or lose, nothing in between, I don’t believe in consolation prizes

Vishal Aditya Singh has successfully made a place in showbiz with his continuous performances and fearless attitude on-screen and off-screen. The actor has a strong willingness to push boundaries from fiction shows to reality TV.

He left a mark in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 as the second runner-up in the year 2021. Vishal is now all set to return as a contestant in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 and face his fears once again.Reflecting on what truly changes when one returns to a show like this, Vishal shared that the biggest shift is internal. “Khatron Ke Khiladi helped me understand myself better. I’ve been a sportsman since childhood, but after entering the industry, almost ten years passed, and I felt that part of my life was over.

In sports, there’s always a constant struggle between winning and losing. You may not gain anything, but there’s an adrenaline rush.

It builds a fighting spirit and a certain stubbornness within you,” he said.He further explained how his first stint on the show reconnected him with that lost side. “When I first did Khatron Ke Khiladi, I felt that very strongly again. People may say you play just for fun, but I play to win or lose - nothing in between.

I don’t believe in consolation prizes, and this show made me realise that once again. It brought back the sportsman in me.”The experience, according to Vishal, didn’t just stay limited to the show but went on to impact his personal life as well. “After the show ended and I returned, many things changed in my life. I even became almost a vegetarian, and that shift came because of the show. When I got the call again, I remembered how incredible my previous journey had been,” he revealed.Recalling one of his most talked-about moments from the previous season, Vishal opened up about a difficult phase early in the competition. “In the very first episode, I thought I would be out because I had to abort a water stunt. News spread everywhere that I had been eliminated. But I knew I would survive, and I eventually became a finalist,” he shared.Even in defeat, Vishal found clarity. “In the finale, there was another water stunt, and I lost again.

But sometimes, even in losing, you feel happy because you know you gave it your best and that matters most to me.”Now, as he gears up for another shot, his mindset remains rooted in self-discovery rather than just victory. “So when I got another chance, I felt that after learning so much about myself the first time, maybe I could discover something new again. I know I’ll feel scared, but I still want to go. I genuinely enjoy all of this.”With a stronger sense of self and an unshaken competitive spirit, Vishal Aditya Singh’s return promises to be one of the most compelling journeys to watch this season.
