Exhibition in Palakkad celebrates ornithologist Induchoodan

A two-day programme on the culture of the Bharathapuzha, held over the weekend at Ashtangam Ayurveda Medical College, Koottanad,in Palakkad focussed on bird folklore under the title Pakshipuranam.

The sessions explored local knowledge systems around birds, including bird songs, stories and traditional understandings of avian life along the river.
