Vin Diesel’s name suddenly started trending after a shocking post spread on Facebook on March 18. The post claimed the Fast & Furious star had suffered a stroke and could not walk anymore.

It showed him sitting in a wheelchair in a hospital gown, holding a sign that read, “Stroke took my legs and maybe my career. Will you still stand by me?” Actor John Cena was shown standing next to him, which made the story feel real to many people. The post quickly picked up attention and crossed thousands of likes, leaving fans worried. But when you look closely, the story does not hold up. There is no real proof that Vin Diesel was ever hospitalized or suffered a stroke.

No official statement, no verified report, and nothing from his own social media supports this claim.

Vin Diesel stroke rumor with John Cena images proven false as AI-generated posts mislead fans

The viral posts came from a Facebook page named Spacefunk. Along with the wheelchair image, another picture showed Vin Diesel lying in a hospital bed holding a sign that said, “I’m going into life-or-death surgery tomorrow… Will you pray for me.” John Cena again appeared beside him. The captions painted a very emotional story, saying Cena stayed quietly by his side without cameras or attention.

However, these images are not real. When checked through AI detection tools, reports showed that around 70 percent of these pictures were likely created using AI tools such as Nano Banana or Imagen. That explains why the scenes look dramatic but slightly unnatural. There is another clear problem with the claim. The same Facebook page has been posting different and conflicting stories about Vin Diesel within days.

One post showed him healthy inside a wrestling ring with John Cena. Another claimed he had welcomed a newborn baby in a hospital, which is also not true. In reality, Vin Diesel shares three children with his longtime partner Paloma Jiménez, and their youngest child was born back in 2015.Vin Diesel himself has not mentioned any health issue. His recent Instagram post shows him meeting and hugging his Fast & Furious co-star Jordana Brewster.

There is no sign of any medical emergency.Instead, Vin Diesel is focused on work. On January 30, he shared an update about the next film in the franchise, Fast Forever. The movie is planned for a March 17, 2028 release and is expected to be the final chapter of the long-running series. In that post, he also remembered Paul Walker and wrote, “No one said the road would be easy… but it’s ours. One that has defined us and become our legacy… And a legacy… lasts Forever.”So, the truth is Vin Diesel did not suffer a stroke. The viral images with John Cena are fake and part of a misleading AI content chain made to attract attention online.
