Sathyan Anthikad has long been celebrated as one of Malayalam cinema’s most beloved filmmakers. With his upcoming film 'Hridayapoorvam' set to hit theatres this Onam, the veteran director has opened up about his affectionate bond with Fahadh Faasil.

Talking to Kaumudy Movies, Sathyan Anthikad revealed a subtle yet meaningful change in the way Fahadh addresses him. “Earlier, Fahadh used to call me Sathyan Uncle, but once he started shooting, he began addressing me as Sathyeetta. In that way, the boundary between us disappears. That brings a big change. The problem arises only when they feel we are seniors and the ones who were with their fathers,” he said.

Fahadh and Sathyan Anthikad have teamed up twice before, first in 'Oru Indian Pranayakadha' (2015) and later in 'Njan Prakashan' (2017).
Both films received good reviews from the audiences and Fahadh Faasil's charming performance was surely the highlight.
'Hridayapoorvam' readies for Onam
The buzz around 'Hridayapoorvam' has been growing ever since the trailer dropped, promising a heartfelt family drama that balances humour and emotion. Mohanlal’s simple yet stunning performance stands at the centre and is surely heartwarming to see his nostalgic charm on screen. The film also teases a gentle romantic track. Reports suggest cameo appearances by Basil Joseph and Meera Jasmine. For audiences, this film is not just another festive release, it is also the much-awaited reunion of Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikad after a decade. Meanwhile, actors Malavika Mohanan, Sangeeth Prathap, Siddique, Lalu Alex, Sabitha Anand, Baburaj, and Sangita Madhavan Nair also plays pivotal roles in this heartwarming drama movie.On the other hand, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen's 'Lokah' will be also hitting the big screens on August 28. The expectations are also high for 'Lokah' which is bankrolled by Dulquer Salmaan.
