Faith of devotees shaken: Nripendra Misra on Ram Mandir donation 'scam'

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Nripendra Misra, Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Committee chairman, shared his views on the alleged misappropriation of donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

When asked for his reaction on the allegations and complaints of misappropriation of donations at the Ram Temple, Nripendra Misra said, "It's very, very sad. It has shaken the faith of devotees. The devotee who was never asking questions till now and willingly contributed. Imagine, a contribution to a non-formal, non-governmental organisation amounting to about three thousand five hundred crores for the construction of his own temple, Ram temple. That was the faith of four lakh villages. Now, all of them obviously would like to know what happened to their contribution and what happened to the contribution which they further made when they visited the temple."
