LeBron James turned back time with a near-perfect 30-point night, making NBA history at 41 as the Lakers surged to a seventh straight win behind him and Luka Dončić.

Father Time might be undefeated. But, he hasn’t met LeBron James yet.
On a dominant night in Texas, ‘The King’ rolled back the years as the Los Angeles Lakers secured a 124-116 win over the Houston Rockets.
James poured in a ridiculous 30 points, five rebounds, two assists, a steal, a block — and shot an absurd 13-of-14 shooting from the field, including a perfect 2-of-2 from deep in just 34 minutes.

And as it often is with LeBron, the 41-year-old scripted history.
According to the NBA, LeBron became the first player ever to drop 30+ points on 90%+ shooting in a regular-season game after turning 41.

Despite entering his 21st NBA season, LeBron still looked every bit like a top-tier player, averaging 21.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 6.8 assists this season while shooting over 51% from the field.
Luka Leads, LeBron Finishes
While LeBron turned back the clock, Luka Doncic powered the Lakers with yet another near triple-double — 40 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds.
Together, they proved why the Lakers were suddenly one of the hottest teams in the league.
The win marked their seventh straight victory and their 10th in 11 games, pushing them to 44-25 and firmly into the third seed in the Western Conference.
Milestones Keep Coming
LeBron’s night wasn’t just about scoring. His five rebounds also took him past 12,000 career rebounds, making him only the 23rd player in league history to hit that mark.
Oh, and that 13-of-14 shooting night? It tied the most efficient performance of his entire career — matching a game from his Miami Heat days back in 2013.
