‘Fauzi’ makers debunk claims that Rajesh Sharma was hospitalized after insect bite during Prabhas starrer's shoot in Hyderabad - Reports

The team behind Prabhas starrer ‘Fauzi’ has responded after reports claimed that actor Rajesh Sharma’s recent health condition was linked to the film’s shoot. The reports suggested that the veteran actor was hospitalized after an insect bite during the shooting at Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City.

However, the makers have now denied that any such incident happened on the film’s set.

'Fauzi' makers deny on-set incident

According to a report by Gulte, the team shared that they have no knowledge of any medical emergency involving Rajesh Sharma during the shoot. They also mentioned that the actor had completed all his scheduled scenes nearly a week before the reports came out and had already returned home.The ‘Fauzi’ team further added that they were not informed about any injury or health issue while Rajesh Sharma was shooting the ‘Sita Ramam’ fame Hanu Raghavapudi directorial.

They said that no member of the production received any official communication about an accident or medical emergency on the set.The makers also revealed that after the reports appeared online, they tried to contact Rajesh Sharma's family to know about his health. However, they said they did not receive any response.

Another claim over health

In addition, as per Track Tollywood, Rajesh Sharma’s personal assistant, Subhashish Panda, reportedly dismissed the claims linking the actor's illness to the ‘Fauzi’ shoot.

He said the actor was admitted to the hospital because of swelling in his leg caused by diabetes and that the admission was only a precaution.Panda also reportedly said that Rajesh Sharma is recovering well and is expected to be discharged soon. Speaking about the reports connected to the Hyderabad shoot, he reportedly said that no such incident took place and called the claims baseless.For the unversed, Sudipa Chatterjee had shared a detailed health update on social media.

She wrote that after finishing the shoot at Ramoji Film City, Rajesh Sharma was talking with local technicians in an area surrounded by dense vegetation when he suffered an insect bite.

Speaking about ‘Fauzi,’ the film is set to be a war action drama. Prabhas is seen as a soldier who is like a “battalion who fights alone.” The movie includes debutant Imanvi Esmail, also known as Imanvi, who plays the female lead. It also features Bollywood legends Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Jaya Prada in key roles.
