FBI Releases 'Person Of Interest' In Charlie Kirk’s Fatal Shooting; Manhunt Underway

Charlie Kirk was a leading figure in right-wing politics and a staunch supporter of President Trump.

The person who was detained earlier in connection with the fatal shooting of the political activist Charlie Kirk has been released following an interrogation by law enforcement, according to FBI director Kash Patel, giving an update on the latest developments in the case.

“The subject in custody has been released after an interrogation by law enforcement. Our investigation continues, and we will continue to release information in the interest of transparency," Patel wrote on X, hours after he informed about the suspect being detained.

As of now, no arrests have been made in the case.
