A general council meeting of the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) held in Kochi on Friday (April 24, 2026) rejected the resignation offer made by B. Unnikrishnan, its general secretary.

Mr. Unnikrishnan had expressed his desire to step down from the post citing “personal reasons.” He had also suggested a new leadership for the federation after remaining at its helm for nearly 18 years.
