FIFA announced the ticket sales process for the 2026 World Cup will begin this month, with group-stage match tickets ranging from $60 to $6,710 for the final, with prices varying based on demand.

The tournament, featuring 48 teams, will take place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026.Visa cardholders can register for a FIFA ID on the organisation's website to participate in a presale draw scheduled for September 10-19. Selected fans can start purchasing tickets from October 1.Fans will have options to buy single-game tickets, venue-specific tickets, and team-specific packages.

Each person is limited to four tickets per match and a maximum of 40 tickets for the entire tournament.The ticket sales process will unfold in multiple phases. Phase two registration is planned for October 27-31, with sales running from mid-November to early December.Phase three will commence after the tournament draw in Washington on December 5, allowing fans to apply for specific matches. A first-come, first-served system will be implemented closer to the tournament for remaining tickets.

FIFA said in a statement: "We plan to offer additional products such as supporter tickets for fans who want to sit with others backing the same team, and conditional supporter tickets for fans who want to reserve a place in potential knockout rounds."An official resale platform will be established by FIFA to facilitate ticket exchanges.The 2026 World Cup marks the largest field in tournament history, with 48 teams competing across three North American countries.
