Andhra Pradesh Revenue Services Association’s State president Bopparaju Venkateswarlu on Monday urged the State government to fill up 350 Tahsildar posts immediately, claiming that the revenue officials at mandal and village levels are overburdened with responsibilities such as resurvey, land acquisitions, voters’ registration, census, and election duty.
Addressing the media conference in Srikakulam, Mr. Venkateswarlu requested the government to reduce the work burden on revenue officials by filling up the vacant Tahsildar posts, claiming that many of them have been suffering from multiple health issues.
