Telangana Chief Minister A, Revanth Reddy visited flood-hit Kamareddy district on Thursday. He spoke to the people affected by the weather impact, inspected the damaged agriculture fields and infrastructure  and informed them that officials were directed to look for permanent solutions to avoid such eventuality in the future. Also, the officials were asked to solve the issues there temporarily.

The district received record rainfall in the previous week, which led to loss of lives and property. The floods damaged major and minor irrigation projects, road infrastructure, and sand accumulated in fields. People had to be rescued from inundated localities.

The Chief Minister assured the people that the government will stand by them. Students would be provided with text books and necessary resources. He recalled the actions taken when the district was reeling under the impact of the flood; Kamareddy in-charge Minister Dansari Anasuya (Seethakka) was directed to be on the ground along with others. Officials were alerted.
