Fire breaks out at a three-storey commercial building coaching centre on Usha Mehta Marg in Aliganj, Lucknow, 14 fire engines respond, no casualties reported, operations ongoing.

A major fire broke out at a three-storey commercial building in Lucknow on Monday afternoon, prompting an extensive firefighting and rescue operation.

According to the fire department, an alert about the blaze was received around 3 pm from a coaching centre situated on Usha Mehta Marg in the Aliganj police station area. In response, 14 fire engines, including a hydraulic platform vehicle, were rushed to the spot to bring the flames under control.

Visuals from the fire site have emerged on social media. A plume of smoke can be seen billowing out of the window as firefighters attempted to douse the flames.

Officials said there were no reports of casualties and no indication that anyone was trapped inside the building. Firefighting operation was underway and further details are awaited.
