Several videos have surfaced on social media, showing the intensity of the explosion and fire. Thick black smoke was seen rising from the site, prompting officials to reportedly issue a shelter-in-place order for the west side of the city as a precaution.

Sheriff Stephens and Tim Duriso told KFDM that all refinery workers were accounted for after the blast, which occurred at around 6:30 pm local time on Monday. Authorities also confirmed that no injuries have been reported so far.
