Fire mishap at Durodine Industries in Hyderabad; no casualties or injuries reported

A major fire broke out at Durodine Industries in Jinkalawada, Sanathangar in the early hours of Thursday (July 17, 2025). No casualties were reported in the incident.

According to the fire control, a distress call was received at 3:25 a.m., after which six fire tenders along with a firefighting robot were pressed into service.

District Fire Officer, Hyderabad-2 said the blaze, suspected to have an electrical origin, rapidly spread through the factory due to the highly combustible packaging materials stored on the premises. The unit was involved in packaging dinner sets suffered property damage.

An investigation is under way to determine the cause of the fire and assess the full extent of the damage.
