An Iranian missile strike hit Qatar’s Ras Laffan Industrial City on Thursday, targeting one of the world’s largest natural gas export hubs and causing significant damage to key facilities.

A video of the incident, which has gone viral on social media, shows panic in nearby areas shortly after the attack, with people seen reacting as explosions lit up the sky

Several people standing at a distance, watching a massive blaze in the background after the strike. Moments later, another missile hits the area, triggering a fresh explosion and intensifying the fire.

The strike damaged key infrastructure at the site, raising concerns over energy supplies and regional stability. Ras Laffan is a crucial hub for liquefied natural gas (LNG) production and export, making it a strategic target.

In a statement released early Thursday, QatarEnergy confirmed that multiple LNG facilities were affected. The company said the site was struck by missiles, which led to large fires and further extensive damage across the complex.
