First strike on gas, next on fuel: Rahul slams govt over commercial LPG price hike

The price of commercial cylinders has increased by Rs 993, marking a substantial single-day jump, while domestic cylinder prices remain unchanged. The opposition highlighted that this hike, totalling an eighty-one percent increase over three months, places a financial burden on small businesses, including tea stalls, local eateries, and hotels. The opposition claimed this price rise was expected following the conclusion of recent elections, framing it as an added cost for the common citizen.
