First-year MBBS student dies after fall from hostel building at Jubilee Mission Medical College

A first-year MBBS student of Jubilee Mission Medical College, Thrissur, died after allegedly falling from the 14th floor of the girls’ hostel on Monday. The deceased was identified as Sneha Paulose, a native of Kottayam.

Hospital staff noticed the student lying on the ground near the hostel building and rushed her to the Emergency department. Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries.

According to the police, preliminary findings suggest that the student may have jumped from the 14th floor of the hostel. The exact circumstances leading to the incident are yet to be ascertained. The East police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
