The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Monday said flight operations between the Gulf region and the country are gradually resuming after temporary disruptions caused by the escalating West Asia crisis.
According to senior officials from the Ministry, more than 45 flights are scheduled to depart from various Gulf destinations for India on Sunday as airlines work to stabilise operations.

Speaking on the situation, a senior official said that the authorities are closely monitoring aviation movements across the region as airlines begin restoring services.
He said that, according to updates issued by authorities in the United Arab Emirates, flight operations from Dubai International Airport, which were temporarily suspended earlier in the day for passenger safety, are now gradually resuming.
Indian and UAE carriers are also continuing to operate limited flights from other airports across the Emirates, including Abu Dhabi International Airport, Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and Fujairah International Airport.
Flights are also operating from Oman to multiple Indian cities, while Qatar has partially reopened its airspace. Qatar Airways is currently operating flights to India and is expected to continue services on Monday as well.
However, airspace over Kuwait has remained closed since February 28 amid the ongoing regional tensions. Officials said special non-scheduled commercial flights operated by Jazeera Airways are expected to begin services to India soon from Al Qaisumah International Airport.
The updates come as governments across the region continue to adjust aviation operations amid the broader conflict in West Asia, which has disrupted airspace and international travel routes in recent days.
