Flights to West Asia cancelled for second day from Tiruchi

Flight services to West Asian destinations from Tiruchi international airport remained suspended for the second day on Sunday (March 1, 2026), consequent to the escalation of tensions in West Asia in the wake of multiple strikes on Iran by Israel and the United States of America.

Tiruchi Airport Director S.S. Raju said Air India Express flights in the Tiruchi - Sharjah - Tiruchi sector (IX 0613 / IX 0614) and Tiruchi - Dubai - Tiruchi sector (IX 0611 and IX 0612) have been cancelled on Sunday (March 1, 2026).
