NEW DELHI: Former Afghanistan fast bowler Shapoor Zadran has died in India after battling an illness. He had been undergoing treatment at a hospital in India for some time.

Zadran was among the pioneering fast bowlers of Afghanistan cricket and played a significant role in the national team's rise on the international stage.
