Thrissur Vigilance Court has sentenced a former assistant engineer of the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) to seven years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of ₹25,000 in a bribery case.
The convicted, K. Sasi, 65, a native of Thazhava in Kollam and former assistant engineer at the Kunnamkulam KSEB office, was found guilty of accepting a bribe of ₹10,000 from a building owner in Chavakkad.
