Jeff Dodds says F1 need not fail to make Formula E look successful
Jeff Dodds was speaking on the Business of Sport podcast when he touched upon the topic of the new F1 regulations. He said, "There's a lot I look at in Formula 1.
I think they do it magnificently. On the other hand, some of the things they're doing more recently, I suspect they're looking over the fence and thinking, what are we doing well? It's really, really important for us that we don't just become two versions of the same thing.
We are in competition in some respects, but I don't need them to fail for us to be successful."Dodds had earlier invited F1 champion Max Verstappen to try their new GEN4 car at a time and track of his choice.
He extended the invitation after the Red Bull driver famously called the new F1 cars “Formula E on steroids”.
